Lizette is a Marriage and Family Therapist working with clients in person in Orlando and virtually throughout all of Florida.

Lizette specializes in working with people who have experienced suffering and would like to transform their pain. In this work, we typically target how you view yourself, your relationships, and greater society.

Lizette’s work is rooted in liberation-focused therapy. Meaning generous space and consideration is given to people with with minority backgrounds in the therapy room.

Lizette earned a Master's degree from Syracuse University in Marriage and Family Therapy.During her program, she received specialty training to work with couples, families, people of color, and the LGBT community. Listening to the stories of her peers is the single most enjoyable part of her job.

Lizette is also trained to provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to help treat past or current trauma.

Lizette prides herself in staying up to date in current research, academic discussions, and general mental health discussions.
